How it runs

Estimate

Run the figures through the capital allowances calculator, or send us the purchase and fit-out costs.

Survey and valuation

A specialist surveyor apportions the fixtures and prepares the claim report.

Claimed

Submitted through your Corporation Tax return with your accountant. Fee paid from the saving.

Common questions

We bought the building years ago. Too late?

Usually not. Fixtures claims can be made in a later return provided the relevant election was not signed away on purchase. That is exactly what the survey checks.

Does this affect the sale of the property?

It can affect the capital allowances position on sale, so the claim is structured with that in mind and documented for the buyer.
